Winter is past

I love this time of year when the branches are red with life (and sap). Buds are just about ready to burst. Birds are getting more and more numerous. Flocks of robins populate yards and fill the air with their songs. I'm glad I live in a place where there are seasons. The variety keeps me from getting bored with all that surrounds me outdoors...

After our snowfall Friday it is hard to believe spring will come! Happy Easter!

I enjoy this time of year as well. It seems like winter stayed a long time this year. . .but new bits of growth are showing through and are a wonderful promise of spring!

Is it spring break yet? Fun travels planned? It's one of the perks of being a teacher!

I agree that seasons are nice. I just wish they were more evenly divided, not 5 months of winter and 1 month of spring!

I surely wish you'd send some of that lovely spring north; we've got more snow in the forecast. Sigh. But looking at your photos encourages me that, yes, there's hope for us, too. :D
