Be Strong, Be Brave, Be Fearless

One of this week's blog prompts caught my eye as I was looking for something to write tonight.  I love this cheery little bird.  So small, so delicate.  And yet bravely perched there on the branch, singing.  Such a good reminder for us to go through our days with courage!

What gets us through is the last part of the quote there:  You are never alone.  Not only are we all in this together, Jesus is with us at each step, at every turn.  Joshua 1:9 tells us to remember:  "Don't be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go."  Even when the only place we can go is to another room in the house.

A news commentator I follow has been saying more than once in the past several weeks that "each day we are one day closer to putting this all behind us."  And he's right.  Each day we are one day closer to being back together, doing what many of us are missing right now.  We don't know when this will end, but we do know that we are closer to the end today than we were yesterday.  That's good news!  In the meanwhile, be strong, be brave, be fearless  You are never alone.
