So I was trying to change my sheets and put a new quilt on my bed this morning. Of course nothing would do but Teddy and May had to help me. They insisted on depositing themselves in the middle of the bed, right where I was trying to work.
They're not used to having me home days in a row (it's Spring Break, at long last), so they seem to feel the need to keep me in their sights at all times. Wherever I go, they are sure to find me. From one room to the next, they follow me. It seems to be fine if they leave me, but I'm not allowed to leave them. Not as long as I'm in the building at least.
The bedspread, by the way, is something I've been wanting and searching for for years. For the longest time I wanted a blue and white bedroom. Finally, three summers ago, my sisters re-papered the walls with the pretty flower print, but I couldn't find a quilt I wanted, so I made do with others. Monday, I found it in a store I've searched countless times. And it was only $39! To say I was happy would be an understatement...

Just as soon as you said that your cats had to "help" I knew just what kind of help you got! I sometimes think my Motor tries to wake me up just so I will make the bed! He loves to dive at the wrinkles as if they are living things. I can't complain though since it is really the only time he reminds me of his kitten days 10 years ago.
I think your bedroom is lovely. I, too, think the blue and white is fresh and romantic. So glad for you about finding the bedspread! I love you pictures and am enjoying your posts. (Thanks to Patty)
It is a very attractive room. Love the pillows. But, the cats are what make the look complete.
I am glad I have found your blog. I love the cat pictures. We have six felines that rule our place. I enjoy hearing about another teacher from another part of our land.
