Vermont's Covered Bridges
The past two days, while driving through Vermont, I saw a number of covered bridges. Some were modernized, but others were in their original state. There's nothing that says New England more than a covered bridge in the fall.
What beautiful bridges! And seeing them in Autumn makes them even more lovely! They are not common here, although there is one I've seen near Milo Adv. Academy near Days Creek Oregon that is being carefully preserved. Otherwise, this is the land of 'wide open spaces'.

I love to have a theme and take lots of pictures like bridges. Oregon also has lots of covered bridges. Lovely post.
What a great and beautiful trip. I'm so glad you could do it.
There is only one covered bridge in Ontario and fortunately it is near us. Your pictures are lovely.

such wonderful covered bridges! Bravo!
I *love* covered bridges! I'm wondering where in Vermont these were taken.
These bridges are all found in the Killington/Woodstock region. There were a few others that I passed, but didn't get their picture...
