My sister, nephew, and I went north for a few hours yesterday to visit our parents. It wasn't a long visit, but long enough to feel refreshed. Delicious lunch, complete with 
home-grown vegetables (green beans, tomatoes, carrots, green peppers) and 
raspberry shortcake; good music (CD of my niece soloing on the Lalo Cello Concerto somewhere in Europe); good conversation; 
and the usual tour of the lovely, although weather-battered backyard gardens.
